"The Good Gangulero"
The first thing that a Gangulero needs to know, not to mix the family with the religion, what happens is that a lot of Ganguleros let their feelings run them and that is a big error a lot of them commit.
I mention this because in my career I have seen the never seen before, LIKE Ganguleros that have great knowledge fall in love and end up scratching their mates, they have mixed romance with the religion, they have basically put a knife to their own throats, as is the case of Segundo Ibanez of Guanabacoa, he scratch 3 of his family members, and they with their ungratefulness caused him his death, Alejandro Ribalta, Demetrio Gomez, Justo Ramirez (Zuzundamba), Marcos Zulueta from de Villas, Juan Yanez from Guanabacoa, Jose Manuel Maltiato from Diezmero, Justino Oropesa from Holguin, Chico Vira Mundo that scratched his nephew and the Nfumbe took his life because he went above the laws of Palo, and in 1970 passed by for him Laguna Negra, at Palma # 7% Tio Perico y Montera, Camaguey, gathered his godsons that were there to include his nephew and too the knife of the Nganga and stabbed himself in the stomach, and that is known by all the Ganguleros of Cuba, even none Ganguleros know this, in Camaguey this act impacted all the Ganguleros that knew him and a lot of envious cowards got happy when this happened, because of the fear the event created, that even here in the U.S. there are Ganguleros that when they over hear what occurred they tremble in fear and I know them really well.
The other one was Honorable Gangulero Agapito Gomez, from Mariano, he scratched his cousin and the card turned on him, the old Agapito finished him off, I always say like the old saying “Whom ever gives bread to a neighbors dog, looses the bread and looses the dog”, they say these are acts of love, but they are acts of disaster, and more when you are not related by blood, and this is coming from a warrior of a thousand battles, I will like to tell a small story of a case that happened to me, and will like to make it clear that it was not my Nganga, but one belonging to a Mother Nkisi that used to lived with me.
I scratch her as Bakofula with all the ceremonies, and her son with her Nganga, and as an ungrateful he thought himself an eagle and flew very high but did not measure the altitude and when he started to come down he crashed, then he thought he was price rooster and he knows he does not even get to a chick, he went to Cuba and made Ifa, even when he knew he did not have that road to take, when returning from cuba he returned with Irete Ufa, wich means things are not complete, he made Ifa without having hand of Orula, just because he wanted to be Babalao and that is all, to be a Babalao you need to have ethic and he does not have it, what a pitty and a lost at the same time, there is who is born to be a chick and even though he grows up he will never be a roster and much less a fine rooster.
Envy is a very dangerous cancer it corrupts the soul of these dark Nfunbes. Is not what we want to become, but with the grace that we are born with, but that is how things are here here in this country, there is not a concept of the religion and a lot of the ones that came from Cuba have lost it as well, now the godsons want to be the chief and the godfather to be the godson, that is nothing but people with small brains and want to dress with other peoples clothing, the religion has its pros and cons, that is why a lot of people hate me, but I feel good that they hate me, because I’m my own God, and I do not worry about the rest, and it does not interest me. If you do not want to be blown off the ceiling of my writing do not do things you are not supposed to, so for the one that do not like what I write they need to go to Chihuahua to the dance, that is how the story goes period!.
Soon you will have the book titled (The Leyend Continues), by William Castro (mboa45), from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, I invite you to read it.
September 11 2007, just to clear things a bit, this story is in copyright, since there is a lot of plagiarism out there, so they do not want to come up with something, Entuala.
